The bottom shape of the 2021 Carolina remains the same as its outperforming predecessor. Optimising the centre of gravity for Carolina resulted in a more balanced riding experience, allowing a reduction in width for noticeable performance gains. The subtle dug-out rails allow for wider stance and improved stability.

The recessed deck allows for a low centre of gravity and adds stability, even when riding from the back of the board. The improved stability allows athletes to go more narrow and reap the benefits of the increased performance throughout the Carolina range. The heightened rail lip around the cockpit reduces water intake in the standing area and the high-performance tail makes buoy turns easy.
